Emily’s story was easy to write. I’d been reading a few novels set on a cruise ship and the idea of being isolated from the rest of the world appealed to me. What would you do if you went for a job offer on a cruise ship and it wasn’t what you expected? Your contract is signed and you have no where to go. You can’t run and you can’t hide on a ship filled with people who want you to do something you are terrified off. But they’ll feed you to the sharks if you don’t comply. The cast contains a few beloved characters from the Drifter whom I’ve developed more, but it can be read as a stand alone novel.
